Lilo & Stitch and Wicked Art Workshops at A Little Bite Art Studio
This summer, A Little Bite Art Studio was buzzing with excitement, imagination, and creativity as kids took part in two fantastic art workshops: Lilo & Stitch and Wicked! These fun-filled sessions allowed young artists to dive into their creativity, express themselves, and create unforgettable memories—all while learning new skills and making new friends.
Wicked Art Workshop
In the Wicked workshop, kids painted their way to the magical castle, stepping into the enchanting world of Oz with every brushstroke! They learned to draw fashion illustrations of the two main characters, Glinda and Elphaba, capturing their iconic looks and personalities. With music from the show filling the studio, kids sang along as they painted and brought their creative visions to life.
The fun didn’t stop there! The kids got their hands messy with green slime, adding an extra layer of excitement and fun to the experience. As they mixed colours, designed their characters, and explored the magic of art, every child felt like a part of Oz, creating their own stories and expressing themselves in the most playful and imaginative ways.
One child shared:
"I had so much fun with the gooey, gooey slime! It was so squishy and messy, and I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. I loved how my slime streched out!"

Lilo & Stitch Art Workshop
In the Lilo & Stitch workshop, kids had the chance to bring their favourite characters to life through a variety of fun and hands-on activities. They started by sketching Lilo and Stitch, learning how to capture their unique personalities on paper. Then, they used coloured pencils to create depth and texture in vibrant Hawaiian flowers, bringing the tropical setting to life with every stroke.
The fun didn’t stop there! The kids got their hands messy with air-dry clay, crafting their own 3D versions of the characters, which added a whole new dimension to their artwork. Finally, the grand finale—painting Stitch on a big A3 canvas using texture paint and acrylics. With each layer, kids felt the excitement of watching their artwork come to life, from the texture of the water to the details of Stitch’s mischievous expression.
Every step of the way, kids gained confidence in their artistic skills, learned new techniques, and embraced the joy of getting creative with different materials. Whether they were sketching, sculpting, or painting, it was a day filled with fun, exploration, and self-expression.
One young artist shared:
"I loved painting Stitch surfing! The teacher showed us how to draw him step by step, and it was so much fun to see him come to life on the page. Then, we added texture paint to make it look 3D, and it felt like we could actually feel the water splashing around him as we painted! I was so proud of how my painting turned out. I can’t wait to show my friends and tell them all about the awesome surfing scene I created!"
